If your music was a person, what would their personality be like? Do you have any character that comes to mind?
A humble companion that will take you on a journey between intimate lyrical layers, passionate expression and won’t be afraid to get down.
What’s the plan for 2018?
We spent the beginning of the year focusing on writing new tracks and developing. New music will be dropping before the end of the year, so keep an ear out for the new tunes.
What’s on your music bucket list?
To maintain integrity in our art and continue releasing music that we truly feel passionate about.
If you had to choose an album title as a quote to live by, which one would it be and why?
Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not – Arctic Monkeys
Remember to listen to your inner voice, don’t let someone’s judgement sway your decisions.
What is the most bizarre moment you’ve experienced during a performance?
When we played Positivus (festival in Latvia), we stole shrubs from our dressing room and set up a forest on stage. The stage manager didn’t really understand what was happening.
If you could perform in a concert with other musicians/bands of your choosing, who would they be?
Feng Suave, James Blake, Anderson .Paak
What’s on your Spotify playlist at the moment?
Jungle – Cherry
Aleksandir – Lowdown
Feng Suave – Sink into the floor
Project Pablo – Risk the Rip
Unknown mortal orchestra – Hunnybee
If you could talk to your younger self, what advice would you give about the music industry?
Don’t stop believing in what you love, the good and the bad make you who you are.
What’s in your gig bag?
Strings, sticks, Audiofly IEMs, laptop, towels and the essential snacks.
Why do you use Audiofly IEMs?
When we made the first step to IEMs, we used these super cheap ear buds that didn’t really cut it. Once we started using Audiofly, we never looked back and now they are an integral part of the Tora live set.
